2 Month Wedding Planning Update
You know what's scary? Looking back on last month's wedding planning update and thinking that 91 days was still a lot of time. Now we're down to the 60 mark and I'm beginning to panic. Not about the marriage part of course, just about the length of my to-do list in the next 60 days.
I can already tell things are going to start getting crazy around here. Hopefully not too crazy but the to-do list is getting longer and longer as the wedding date approaches. I've been pretty hands off with wedding planning this month. I think I've just reached the point where I'm ready for the day to be here already.
One big thing I've noticed this month, though, is that I'm starting to get nervous. Not nervous about my actual marriage, no cold feet here. But nervous about the day in general. I assume that's normal so if you've gotten married recently, let me know.

Now let's get on in to the wedding update!
Wedding Planning Tasks Completed in March
Met with Florist | At the beginning of March, Justin and I sat down with our wedding florist and finally ironed out all of the details of our wedding florals. If you caught my early summer wedding inspiration post then you'll know I'm going for a very garden party vibe and I can't wait to finally see all of our flowers together. We had a few snags in the planning process with communication but finally being able to sit down with our florist made me feel so much better and we finally were able to put down our actual deposit.
Paid Off Videographer | I had been freaking out about how we were going to come up with the money for our videographer so I ended up selling A TON of stuff on eBay which helped out tremendously and Justin put his tax refund towards it as well. When I went to make my payment, however, I ended up paying the whole thing by accident. This will seem odd to some of you but I know that was God's way of taking care of things because I had been so anxious about it that I had been praying about whether or not we should cancel our contract for the previous week.
Had Bachelorette Party | ICYMI: Two weekends ago was my Bachelorette party in Nashville! I have one more post coming out all about our trip which will hopefully be up tomorrow so I'm so excited to share what we did with you all. You can check out all of the Nashville related content here.
Purchased my Something Blue | I had no idea what I wanted to do for my something blue. I have quilting fabric that was my grandmother's but I wasn't sure if they would be able to sew anything into my dress because of how the material is so I wanted something that could be a back up, just in case. So I purchased this adorable Harry Potter themed pin from Cool Queen Collective on Etsy. I'm actually going to start collecting pins so I figured even if I didn't end up using it as my something blue, it would be used at some point.
Marking RSVPs | We sent out invitations last month which means we've started getting back RSVPs! Next to the videographer, the guest list is the thing I have been most nervous about. We definitely invited more people than we initially anticipated but seeing the actual RSVPs start to come in has curbed that anxiety a little. You can read my post about creating your guest list here.
Updated Wedding Registries | Ah, wedding registries. I promise that next month I'm going to dedicate an entire post to talking about them because while they initially seem like fun, they're actually kind of a pain. We have updated our wedding registry for the umpteenth time and I'm sure I'll need to update it again next month.
Scheduled First Dress Fitting | My first dress fitting is this weekend! I am so excited to see my wedding dress again. I'm a little nervous about the dress fitting process and the price tag but I know it will all work out in the end. The Vow Boutique in Morgantown, West Virginia is absolutely wonderful to work with. Don't forget that I did an entire series on wedding dress shopping so make sure to check that out if you're in the market for a wedding dress!
That's everything we did in March! Next I figured I would add in a few lists just so I don't forget what I need to do next month. Once these wedding planning updates are over, I'm planning on compiling them into an e-course or eBook so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in and if you have any suggestions!
