2019: My Year of Yes

I am not a huge fan of New Year’s Resolutions. There’s just something about them that leave me feeling icky and uninspired. Can anyone else relate? As 2018 rolled in last year, I knew I wanted to do something other than set the same old boring resolutions that I wasn’t going to meet. Instead, I chose to use a word that I wanted to embody that for that year. Some of you who have been around here awhile might remember from this blog post that my word for 2018 was “Community.” While I feel like I let that word (and myself, and you guys) down a little at the end of 2018, my overall feelings towards choosing a word for the year instead of making resolutions are positive ones.

I Took a Two Month Hiatus From Blogging and Here's Why

Wow, it has been a long time since I sat down to write a blog post. Okay, okay, two months might actually not be that long but when you unexpectedly take a hiatus from blogging after spending the majority of the year writing everyday, it feels like forever! I’m happy to report that this blog post will officially mark the end of my unofficial hiatus from Made in Mom Jeans! I Took the Enneagram Test and Here's What Happened

I have been seeing people talk about the Enneagram Test kind of everywhere lately. I’ve always enjoyed learning more about personality types and that sort of thing so I figured, after seeing the test mentioned three different places this morning, that I would take the test and share my experience with you guys! This definitely wasn’t the post that I was intending to write today but things happen and I took seeing the Enneagram Test talk everywhere as a sign that I should take it. If you haven’t heard of it yet, the Enneagram of Personality, as defined by Wikipedia, is basically a model of the human psyche that includes nine personality types.
