Whew, now that we've got that out of the way let's get into what you all really came for (totally kidding though). I have had a really hard time thinking about what I want for Christmas this year. What with a wedding to pay for and a future house to furnish it's seemed weird actually telling people what I want. Besides, we have a registry. But some people insisted on knowing what I truly wanted so I rounded up a few things that are on my Christmas list this year.
Okay I have the iPhone 8+ which has a pretty amazing built in camera already but these phone lens kits are all the rage these days. People are ditching the DSLRs for their phones which I LOVE because carrying around a DSLR can be a real pain in the you-know-what. So I'm pretty pumped to get my hands on one of these and give it a try.
Y'all why have I not gotten my hands on these yet? These have been around as stocking stuffers for the last few years and I still haven't tried them! It seems like they've been on every blogger's Instagram except mine. Maybe I'll give these to myself this year.
I had a great little weekender bag that I had picked up from Target a few years ago that I loved and was all I ever needed in a weekender really. It was practical and held up for the many weekend trips that Justin and I often find ourselves on. But a few weeks back when we went to WV for Thanksgiving, I had the bright idea of putting my bag behind my seat in the car (because someone, not me, decided to bring a full suitcase) and Hemingway someone got around the coverings and got car sick... right on my bag. Did I mention that it was cream? Needless to say, that bag didn't make the trek home with us so I am on the hunt for a new one! I would love to have one featuring my new (soon-to-be) monogram but I'm not exactly sure I can get one of those by Friday when we head to Philadelphia for Army/Navy.
If you've known for any length of time, then you know I'm obsessed with pretty books. That's exactly why I have approximately 6 different copies of The Great Gatsby. Anyways, I saw this on Gilt when I was browsing the other day and just thought they were absolutely adorable. I can't wait to have actual shelves to fill with pretty books!
I'm obsessed and I'm also kicking myself for not buying the other day when Nordstrom actually had them in stock. Now I'm stuck trying to hunt one down. I don't NEED to spend the money on this belt but there is just something so classic about them that I think will be on trend for years to come. I did find a really great dupe at Target recently which is holding me over until I can actually get my hands on one of these babies. I've even considered selling my Jimmy Choos and getting this instead which is way more practical.
I absolutely love my Patagonia Better Sweater in the full-zip and I think that's exactly the reason why I need to get it in a quarter zip as well (as if I don't already have enough of those). I love this oatmeal color as well which is a nice neutral for fall and winter to pair with my millions and millions of vests...
I mentioned this in my Bride's Gift Guide as well but I'm dying for one of these, especially now that Lilly has a custom monogram option. Is there anything preppier than monograms and Lilly? Probably not.
