The Household Six Book Club pick for the month of January 2020 will by The Military Wife by Laura Trentham. The Military Wife was recommended to me by Valerie of The Always Home and is kind of what started this whole book club idea in the first place! After reading two amazing books, Under the Sabers (Army Wives) and Beyond the Point, I wanted to choose a book that switched gears a little bit.
The Military Wife is a book that's central plot revolves around what happens when your service member doesn't come home or does come home but is changed forever. It highlights the resiliency of military wives and their families, how we band together to form a community and the strong bonds we form that transcends time, distance, and so much more.
